Orange Tea Kettles – Cute or Quirky?

I happen to think orange tea kettles and tea pots are quaint...what do YOU think?  As I was gathering my huge collection of alllll kinds of orange tea pots and kettles, I found some I really, really like.  I'm more of a fan of orange accents in a kitchen than all out orange-in-your-face and to me, a tea kettle is a prefect accessory to bring a pop of orange into your kitchen.

For example, I really like this LeCreuset orange enamel tea kettle.  WEll, to be honest, I like ANYTHING from Le Creuset so it's natural for the tea kettle to catch my attention right off the bat.  Have you see it?  You can see it here...and at a good price as well.  Le Creuset items are usually VERY expensive, but they last forever.

While reading the reviews I saw some people were not that happy with that tea kettle.  As I read more it hit me that the ones that weren't happy with it must not have read the instructions on how to use it properly.  There are some simple "rules" to using that tea kettle...and if you don't follow them, well, I can see how it could be a not-so-great experience with that product.

Another tea kettle I liked was an orange and white polka-dot tea pot.  It is ADORABLE!  (You can see it here... isn't it cute?)  I really like orange and white so that tea kettle was right up my alley.

But there was one kettle that really got my attention... it's a collapsible tea kettle (and yes, it's orange...lol).  I've never heard of these before, have you?  If you're not sure what I'm talking about, you can see the tea kettle here.

Have you used one of those before?  What do you think about it?
